I don't think they were evil. I think they were just following their instict. It’s natural for cats and owls to eat little things like mice. But to a mouse there probably evil. Kind of like a serial killer to us. They keep on killing people over and over again. I’m pretty sure cats and owls kill mice over and over again.
ReplyDeleteAgain, Josh is right. They were just following instincts. But Abel didn't have to put a curse on the poor thing. That wasn't instincts. Abel disappoints me.
ReplyDeleteI seriously think that those characters are EVIL!!! The owl was just trying to eat Abel. Abel hid in his so called home so he could escape the owl. The cat, He was hitting Abel. The cat made Abel Bleed. Abel ran up the tree and the cat let him get a head start (I honestly think the cat thought it was a game)The cat climbed up the tree but when he was half way there he flipped off the tree and down with that evil cat
ReplyDeleteI think they were good because they were huntinfor g ( though they were really bad at it)probably for their family. It is natural for them to kill,eat, etc. Now, mabye they could team up instead of flying solo, but they might hurt eachother over who gets the big peice and who gets the small one. The cat did not have to risk its (9) lives. The owl is already fat,so it should lay off the mouse burgers. "Man, I wish there was a McDonalds on this island!" said the owl. But in reality it was just hunting food.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that Abel is going crazy and I know he's trying to survive but he needs to chillax because he's going coo-coo. I know why he is stressed because he misses his beloved wife.I would feal the same if I had a husband and was taken away by a river ran wild .I would be going crazy but I would calm down because in the end he's going to go back to her and live a great amazing life. I can't wait to read chapter nineteen!!!
ReplyDeleteI think that it was a good thing that abel got away from the owl and cat but did it have to be so violent and descriptional . I wonder what happened to them.I think it was just natural instinct that saved him from dying on the island.I wonder if his wife thought she had gone loco or coo-coo seeing Abel on the couch ecsosted and in torn shreds as clothes.He probably is wondering what happened while he was away .I'd be wondering if she remembered me.
ReplyDeleteI think that the only reson they atacked Able because that is just what cats and owls do. Well, maby not cats. Owls atack mice for food, but cats kill mice, well... just to kill them I guess. So cats are the mean ones.
ReplyDeleteI have a different thought about both of them. The owl is just doing its instinct. Owls have to eat and mice are just lucky to be alive. The cat on the other hand is a terribly mean hunter because they (like some people) just hunt for fun. I understand that humans eat meat but cats will just play with mice and put them in pain until they die. Cats are very mean to most animals and they should not be so terrible.
ReplyDeleteI think that the cat is just an evil animal. It always just does these little things that get on my last nerves! They are just so mean!!! The owl on the other hand needs its food. They hunt for food and feed their young. The cats play with, the owl feeds their babies. I am personally on the owls side (I'm never on the cats side!)
ReplyDeleteI think they are good. It's their nature to do that kind of stuff to mice. The only reason why they do that is because they were created that way. No one can blame them for it. They have small brains and they need food to live.
ReplyDeleteI think they were EVIL because they both wanted to kill Abel.I can under stand why they chased Abel but why wouldn't be friends,there's nobody else to play with.If the cat saw what happened to the owl why would it still chase Abel.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they are good and bad. They are good because they do it to survive or need it for their children (chicks, kittens you know what I mean). To a mouse’s view they might be bad because they do not want to be killed they problibly want them to be vegetarian. I want to saw there in the middle but able would say "they are evil demons who ever made those creatures made a big big mistake." the owl and cat would say "we're just trying to feed the family." or "we need food too we do not want to starve to death." So I guess they are in the middle.
